Receive a patient specimen

Enter the patient details, choose all tests required for the same specimen, then save. The system issues one specimen barcode only, and the label lists all requested tests for that specimen.

One specimen = one barcode. Fast batch save is enabled. Select all tests required from the same received specimen. A single barcode label will be issued and all requested tests will appear on that label.

Pick a test from the received specimens, enter the reactions and the result, and attach a photo or a PDF of the result sheet.

Critical Results

Automatic notification log for DCT positive, ICT positive, and Rejected specimens. ICT includes positive IAT or Antibody Screening results. Rejected specimens such as QNS are sent here automatically for notification follow-up.

Patient File

All registered patients are shown automatically. Use the search box only to filter by file number or patient name.

Users

Every reception, result entry and verification is stamped with the signed-in user. A result must be verified by a different user than the one who entered it.

Staff accounts

Cloud accounts are centrally managed.

Settings and backup

The facility name appears on the labels and the reports. Data is stored in the central Blood Bank database and is shared across authorized devices.

Facility identity

Specimen barcode format: 202608190001 — year, month and day, then a sequence that restarts at 0001 every day. No dash is used, so the barcode and printed specimen number match exactly. The optional prefix may contain letters or digits.

Backup

Central cloud storage is active Patients, tests, results and attachments are saved to the shared Blood Bank server. JSON backup remains available as an additional safety copy.
